Use AI tools, including ChatGPT, to tailor résumés, refine interview responses, and build a professional communication strategy that presents their brand clearly and confidently.

Evaluate and refine their social media channels to ensure their online presence supports their personal brand and aligns with industry expectations for professionalism.

Session Abstract

Many HTM professionals have the technical skills and hands-on experience needed for the job, but often struggle to clearly articulate their value during interviews. This session helps participants build a personal brand framework that reflects their strengths, goals, and professional identity in a way that hiring teams can immediately recognize and trust.

Through guided exercises, storytelling, and live interaction, attendees will identify the character traits and professional qualities that set them apart. We explore the real value of professionalism in HTM, including confidence, teachability, problem solving, owning your actions, and clear communication with both service teams and clinical staff. These are the traits managers consistently look for, yet many candidates underestimate their importance.

This workshop was developed through interviews with six seasoned industry leaders who shared exactly what separates top performers from everyone else. Their insights are woven throughout the presentation so participants learn what HTM directors, imaging managers, and field service leaders actually want to see in a candidate.

The session also includes practical training on using AI tools like ChatGPT to tailor a résumé, refine professional language, and build a communication strategy that presents their brand clearly and professionally.

By the end, attendees will leave with a polished personal brand framework, a deeper understanding of their own strengths, and the tools to position themselves as the obvious choice for any HTM role or advancement opportunity.

Speaker Profiles

Trish Gower Parts and Service Sales, Twilight Medical, Incorporated

Trish Gower is a business coach, AI strategist, and Healthcare Technology Management professional with a strong background in medical parts sourcing, operations, and technician support. She works with BMETs, clinical engineers, imaging techs, and emerging HTM professionals to help them build confidence, communicate effectively, and position themselves for meaningful career growth.

Trish has spoken at industry events on personal branding, career readiness, and the importance of reliable communication between service teams and the clinical staff they support, including doctors, nurses, and patients. She also teaches HTM professionals how to highlight the character traits that cannot be trained into a person, such as integrity, follow-through, and compassion, and how to make those strengths shine during interviews and daily workflow.

She created a custom GPT tool that helps HTM students and new graduates tailor their résumé to the job description, assess their social media presence for professionalism, and practice real interview questions. With a coaching background in mindset, organization, and nervous system regulation, Trish blends technical understanding with human-centered development, helping HTM professionals advocate for their value and show up with confidence in a rapidly evolving field.
