Speaker Profiles

Rob founded and is CEO of Squid iQ, a healthcare technology utilization management (HTUM) solution, to help hospital systems overcome the data and process silos that cause deep care delivery inefficiencies related to healthcare technology management (HTM). He began focusing on this challenge while leading a supply chain localization project for the Greater NY Hospital Association.
He was recruited for this engagement due to his experience buying, operating and after 10 years selling a tech-enabled logistics business (Up Services) that served Fortune 250 customers, founding a sustainability-themed investment fund (Brightpath Capital), leading the development, commercialization and management of global tech-enabled services businesses (at Covad and TCI) and serving as a board director for several companies ranging from technology start-ups to publicly-traded corporations.
Rob started his career as a private equity investor at CS First Boston, Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers and TLC Beatrice. He graduated from Harvard College and Business School and attended the University of Nairobi as a Rotary Fellow.
