Objectives

General Contractors can build a building.
But it takes a CTM team working in perfect synergy to ensure a successful opening for the clinicians and end users.
The Medical Equipment Planners, Clinical Engineering team and Clinical Technology Service Delivery need to work together to ensure all the patient care needs are met. Not all architects or contractors have the skill set to provide the necessary elements to provide optimal patient care.
Kaiser Permanente has a long history of successful medical office building openings, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, as well as a numerous hospital rebuild projects and new additional hospitals brought on line.

Session Abstract

In order to open a new hospital, it takes the entire CTM village.
Medical Equipment Planners need to specify the necessary equipment.
Clinical Engineering is needed to potentially integrate the equipment and place the equipment on the KPIT network.
And Clinical Technology Service Delivery needs to be able to onboard and support the new equipment.

The individual CTM teams need to work together to ensure all pieces of planning, scoping, design and implementation are covered.
